I held off on reviewing this... For me, $60 is expensive. Just for anything. But dating someone 10 years younger increased my insecurity (in full disclosure here), so I decided to up the ante on my skin care regimen, and after some research on serums, went for this.The reason I'm prepared to give it 5 stars is that I got it in Sept, and now after 5 months, there is still plenty left because you only use 1 squirt on your face each morning (and sometimes at night, if you just want to spruce up) ... so it has LASTED a LONG time, and I'm probably only 2/3 done. So its NOT expensive if you consider that. AND IT WORKS. People kept saying how good I looked but couldn't quite put their finger on it. It just takes your slightly aging face and gives it the original SHAPE back... LOL ... springing all the skin back to its tight alertness. I first started using this product after my partner gave up on it after noticing increased acne problems and breakouts but only used the product for about a week before giving up. So, not wanting to waste about $60 I decided I would give it a try. I also noticed increased blackout and a general oiliness to my skin after about the first 3 days of use. However, this all changed as I stuck with the routine and by day 9 my skin cleared up and looked better than ever. I figure you just have to let your skin get used to the serum and let it work its magic. My skin is looking good and clear and is no longer as oily as it was during the first few days of use. Looking forward to seeing how well Jack Black Protein Serum can continue to improve my skin. I almost didn't purchase this because of the other reviewer. Let me start by saying that I thought this product would work extremely well because all Jack Black products are the highest end stuff. And so since this is not intended to be something that makes you smell good but something to repair damaged skin I expect it may have some medicinal smell to it. But since the only other review said how horrible the smell is I thought maybe I would wait and see if some other products might do the job. Of course none of them did and I finally broke down and got what I should have gotten all along. So when I first tried it I was thinking oh boy this is gonna smell so bad. .... nothing not even the slightest hint of a smell. I cannot believe this reviewer bought the same product as me. there isn't even the slightest scent to it.
