I have read some good things lately about chia seeds and I believe the review before mine includes some really good information on all the "Good" things in this suppliment. So, I'll stick with the taste. I got the vanilla flavor and it tastes really good on it's own. Before I was Vegan, I had a smoothie for breakfast. Now, I can again. Almond milk, a banana and this protein supplement with ice in the blender. It has a smooth texture and great flavor. Sometimes I add a bit of cocoa powder and sweetener when I want a bit of a change. Being a vegetarian, this knocked out the majority of my diet. I needed a good non dairy / soy protein source. This one was actually better tasting than the whey powder I used before. I mixed a scoop with 1 banana, a splenda and almond milk in my bullet. It was like a rich vanilla shake with a hint of banana flavor. It was so good that both my hubby and son asked for one and we now all drink one a day. They are NOT vegetarians and my hubby is a southern meat and potatoes guy who shakes his head at just about everything I eat. It is really saying something for him to like it so much. We all have one of these for lunch everyday now. My only complaint is that they don't sell bigger containers, as we are really going through these! |
